BlueMesa Joy is a beautiful light fawn female with wonderfully soft and dense, crimpy fine fiber, as well as excellent conformation and incredible Legacy/Caligula genetics!

Joy has an exceptionally strong foundation pedigree on her sire’s side. BlueMesa Aftershock is a very striking medium fawn grandson of the elite 4Peruvian Legacy 6016 (now deceased), out of light fawn herdsire Crescent Moon’s Shockwave. He displays all the superior features associated with this elite lineage: Well-proportioned with excellent conformation, strong bones, great head, and perfect bite, along with plenty of presence to boot. Aftershock’s fleece is outstanding—dense and crimpy, but also extremely soft and fine. He has won a number of awards for his beautifully fine and consistent fiber. Moreover, like his sire, Aftershock has maintained the superior fineness of his fiber well into maturity, showing an incredible AFD of 18.1 microns at the age of almost 10!

Strong foundation genetics also typify Joy’s dam, light fawn Goliath’s Peruvian Jazmine. Jazmine is a full Peruvian Caligula granddaughter out of the well-respected champion herdsire PCA Accoyo Goliath.
