The New Mexico Alpaca Breeders association, formed in 2002, is dedicated to excellence in the development of the alpaca livestock business in New Mexico. Our purpose is to assist our members with professional marketing services and to provide educational opportunities and business networking. Our initial projects for the benefit of our members include:
A farm or business listing on this Website designed to lead alpaca buyers to your doorstep. This Website is professionally and continuously marketed with the search engines drawing interest to our geographic region and to New Mexico alpaca breeders.
The Santa Fe Alpaca Show is now in its third successful year and is the largest show in the Southwest. NMAB is pleased to sponsor and support this first class event which continues to grow each year. The next Santa Fe Alpaca Show will be May 2-5, 2003 with Judges Amanda VandenBosch and Maggie Krieger. Julio Sumar will conduct a special seminar on May 2nd.
Advertising pays! NMAB members will coop on print ads and group displays at shows and events. We will also work to develop media opportunities to promote awareness about alpacas and the alpaca industry.
NMAB will sponsor at least one educational clinic per year and provide ongoing resources through membership networking. The SFAS will provide excellent opportunities for classes conducted by our industry experts.
NMAB members will provide assistance and share their knowledge with one another, particularly to help the newest of our breeders in the alpaca industry. We invite you to join NMAB! You will find we offer you great cooperative marketing opportunities to enhance your alpaca business, helpful educational resources, and opportunities for dedicated alpaca breeders to work towards excellence in our fast growing industry.
