Sugarfoot is the daughter of La Buena Vida's Beautiful Lucia Mia (2nd place at 2001 AOBA National) and Crescent Moon's Rayo Del Sol (Color Champion at AOBA National 2001 & 2002). She is named for her dainty little white rear foot. This girl has it all, breeding, attitude, conformation and beautiful fiber. She truly believes she is a princess and acts like one too! She steals the show everywhere she goes and she is a favorite with our visitors here. At the 2004 New Mexico State Fair in Albuquerque, NM, she placed 2nd in the Shorn Class for Dark Female Yearlings. The judge for the class stated "what struck me immediately about this female, was her femininity. She is everything a female alpaca should be." Sugar is an excellent dam. She is an easy breeder/birther, an attentive mother, with plenty of milk. She is playful with all the farm cria and makes an ideal babysitter.

Tuaca is a nice male alpaca. He has great conformation with a tight, compact body and nice proportions. His fiber is dense, crimpy, fine with excellent handle. He is a rich medium brown with black on his face and ear tips and black on his legs. Tuaca is inquisitive with a proud bearing. He already challenges our herdsires when they are in the fields together and has great confidence. He halters, leads and loads like a champ.

Tuaca's dam, Sugarfoot showed well for the previous owners and is the daughter of Crescent Moon's Rayo Del Sol( MSG) who is a multi award winner. And his sire is TCB's Black Hawk (TB) whose sire is Nic Nac (MRG/W), also a multi award winner. So this little male has excellent genetics to pass along if anyone is interested in giving him the chance.

Tuaca is 3 years old on Aug 2009 and already he fancies himself the great herd sire, trying his best to lure the girls away from the other males. This guy has real potential as a future herd sire. His compact build, were told, is much the same as the Snowmass herd sires and is just what the judges are looking for in the show ring.
